zeiss for 7D

hey mates!
i want to buy a zeiss lens for the canon 7D, i need a 35mm and a 50mm, what are my best choises? thanks
 
Depends on what you mean by "best".

You can get Zeiss CP.2 lenses in EOS mount, but they'll cost about $4,000 each.

You can get Zeiss ZE.2 lenses in EOS mount, same glass as the CP.2, but about $1500 each.

Or you can get on ebay and find old Zeiss Jena lenses for $50-$100 each, probably in M42 mount, and get an M42->Canon adapter.
 
I'm looking to spend around 700$, i'm interested in the zeiss because many people say that these lens are great for colors and dept of field...
 
For $700ish, I'd get the Zeiss 35mm f/2 ZF. I have one in Nikon "F" mount, and it's a SWEEEEEET lens for stills or video.

They are great lenses.

But you should perhaps research into what kind of lenses you need for your specific purposes. You mentioned two focal lengths, 35mm and 50mm.

Are you shooting video?

What has brought you to be in need of/want these lenses?

There are some fantastic 35mm and 50mm primes out there that aren't Zeiss. So I guess my question is, why Zeiss?
 
I have a Zeiss Plannar T 50mm 1.4 that I bought on eBay for about $300. It's a sweet lens and would leave about $400 for a 35mm or you may want to consider something even a little wider.

i'm planning to shot a short movie using the canon 7D, and i want to get a cinema look, wide, great colors… i'm going to use some outside shots during the night and some during day on the beach. the rest of the story is inside a bar, and i want to get a chromatic result on some shots.
looking on the web evebody talks about the tokina, i'm thinking in get one, one carls zeiss because many people talks about this lenses... i will have a action scene on the final and i want to get a crazy look, can you recommend me others cheap lenses?
 
crazy look? well u can go with a samyang 8mm f3.5

However i dont know what u mean when u say crazy...thats just what i thought of.
