My advice will be wait for a special Zacuto sale, I could have gotten this with $200.00 off a few months ago when it first came out. Or wait until they have a few demo models for sale at Zacuto, I scored an EVF Pro for less than half the cost of a "new" one and mine was essentially a "new" demo.
As far as performance, it's okay, not as good as a real EVF obviously. The Gratical is better but then you are into real money. And the Canon EVF-70 is drool worthy but costs as much as the camera. Canon Burbank has a C200 on display with the EVF-70, sweeeet setup.
I love it, and find it in practice better than the gratical, because like with my Arri evf, you keep camera controls right there. The negative: its heavy, and the factory monitor arm cant hold it straight, which makes it hard to keep the horizon straight while shooting hand held.
The only way it worked for me was to get the whole Zacuto mounting rig, which doubles the price, but then it works beautifully.
I sold my c200, and im sending the zacuto stuff to zacuto for some adjustments, but when i get it back, it might be available for sale.
