Yes, I Sold My F23...

Honestly I don't understand why you buy a genesis if you have no access to PV glass. The mount hacks on F35 here never really worked well I guess. So hack for genesis sure is same or more headache. But maybe you like to suffer. Just buy F35 and PL glass. Be done!

There are Angineux and Cooke lenses that have a universal back end to them that accept PV Flange mounts. At most you are looking at on the cheap end, 1500-2000 for a lens which is no different than a decent PL zoom so it would be no different than someone with the money to use the F35, which isnt in my ballpark as I found out. before you get all snippy with me, do your research and understand the other person's situation. Also, im not buying an F35 so i'll be leaving this group soon.

Sorry to get upset but im really getting sick of peoples attitudes on here.. seriously.. its just cameras, its not nuclear war... calm the hell down and be nice.

Ok but you thought genesis was gonna be cheaper than F35? The name panavision should have been clue maybe. But Mike, you can buy great PL glass for less than that. But yes cameras like F35 are high end pro stuff. Should expect it not be as cheap as dslr. I was not being snippy. Just being honest as your decision to buy genesis and can't afford the glass baffled me. That's all. Good luck.

I understand. I have more $$$ to play with than a DSLR (never going back to those). Im still doing my research on what will be next. Looking at possibly giving RED a second chance, we will see.

And no I didnt think genesis was going to be cheaper than F35. I mean yes the body itself was cheaper than what F35s are currently priced at and i had some possible extra money coming in which was going to help me pay for a lens kit and that money fell threw hense why im now selling the camera and moving onto something I can afford to kit out properly. Just my personal situation.
