yellow jaggy smudge on LCD 60 D screen

Have been trying to get an idea about what this is that suddenly appeared on my 60 D LCD screen while out shooting, this is not on any of the files either still or video, and is not on the surface of the screen

Have you been using a loupe in the sun? I have a few little spots from letting my loupe focus the sun on my screen and burning it.

if this is so, then these loupes are almost unusable in bright sun. A random ray angle once you take the piece away from your eye could have caused this?

+1 Looks like sun damage to me. Maybe you can send it in to Canon and see if they can repair it.
