XL-H1 viewfinder on XH-A1

Would it be possible to attach to my XH-A1 an XL-H1 viewfinder, or other viewfinder to the hot shoe. I'd love to use that instead of a monitor for critical focus...what do yhe pros think?

With a suitable adapter or some duct tape, it might be possible to attach it to the hotshoe, but there is no socket on the A1 to take the EVF plug, so no way to get an image on the viewfinder. You sure this isn't a wind-up?

Why not just get yourself a marshall monitor? Probably cheaper, and more useful.

No not a wind up, just a simpleton who don't know any better...thanks guys I'll drop this silly idea and go for monitor
