XH A1 wide adapter

Hey, sorry for this, it might be a repost, but I can't find any information since "XH" and "A1" are small words that won't search well.

Anyway, anyone knows a good wide angle adapter that's not as expensive as the Canon one (600$). I want a cheap one that offers good optics without insert vignetting or artifacts.

Thanks!

Canon's own brand the WD-H72 sells for only 340.00 on Amazon. Great reviews and is highly regarded. It's zoom through as well. Downside is the weight and no ability to attach a filter.

Yeah, well I don't wanna pay 340$

That's why I'm asking for hints about a 3rd party one :)

Bottom line is when it comes to wide angle adapters, the big brands are the only ones that you can trust. Aside from Canon, 16x9 and Schneider Optics are reliable. I have one of those cheap ebay adapter and it's now a paperweight. Horrendous edge distortion and vignetting, completely unusable. It's expensive to engineer good glass, especially for HD, and the Canon at $340 is actually a bargain. Try looking for it used.

I have the WD-H72 .. it's good but why Canon won't let you screw a filter or put a lens hood on it would be a deal breaker if I had another go around. Cheers.

So I just bought this Wide adapter off of ebay. It looks great. But i have a problem, I HUGE problem... I took the lens off and well, my stock image from the camera is distorted, It looks like i have a fish eye lens on the camera. What did I do wrong? Is this going to cost me a lot of MONEY to fix. If you need to see images let me know.
