A question regarding my XA10 cams audio,set to auto level the sound is too low on the on board or all my external mics[not XLR]set manualy to 100% the level is what i would call just loud enough,is it normal for the manual level to be set at 100%.
The biggest mistake i ever made was selling my origional Rode stereo mic and getting the new lighter stereo mic,its rubbish compared to big origional,i have the Rode video mic pro on order i hope it works with my XA10,Overall compared to using my GH2 the cam is great, a lot better video,no banding moire or ailising,great colour,if the sound can be improved its all i need.[maybe the 20x lens on the XA20]
