That is interesting. I guess there are quite a few Bluegrass fans in Japan. I went to college at East Tennessee State University (ETSU), right smack in the Tennessee hills, and they have a Bluegrass major. It is my understanding that the ETSU Bluegrass ensemble heads to Japan on a regular basis and draws big crowds.

David, you went to ETSU? Very cool.

Not only do they have a Bluegrass performance major, but storytelling as well. If you haven't experienced the annual National Storytelling Festival in Jonesborough, TN, you should.

Yeah, I have wanted to get to the Storytelling Festival for a long time. I love mountain folk tales.

Aside from the heavy accent, I thought that his singing was pretty good for Bluegrass.
