Worst trailer ever (For worst movie ever?)

Are you kidding me. Ive been waiting to see that film for awhile. Cmon it has handicup gun, fried shrimp, buildings that bleed when smashed. I like what these guys do. Is Mr and Mrs Smith more believable? :P

Lol I especially loved the exploding/bleeding buildings.

And the rear end sword/tail thingies.

Looks alright to me given what few Oriental films I've seen. Their movies are always a bit out there anyways. Mostly a cultural thing I think.

BUT, what caught my attention was the mention of the

"Visual Effects Director
Tsuyosi Kazuno
The Machine Girl"

Okay, I'm not up on that end of it so I can't comment on it either way.

It is odd though to see the mention of a VFX director in a trailer, within North America is it not? Unless maybe is Michael Bay or maybe...well... maybe it's not unusual actually.

I don't know. Oriental movies are hard to judge even when they're good. So, I'm okay with it.

[babble] //Btw, I thought the Godzilla version from Toho 1998 was much more entertaining than the US 1998 version although I believe the Japanese version came out after the uproar over the poor representation of shitywoods version. But my point is there.
Toho produced some pretty campy effects in that but they kepts true to the franchise. That's what I loved about it.
The FX didn't matter and didn't try to impress me. It's Godzilla. [/end babble]

In the Blockbuster isle beside Piranha? Or is that PiranaHA?
Richard Dreyfus is drinking a beer with a label called Amity. (It's a spoof.)

Thank you for linking that! Must watch RoboGeisha.

Part of me thinks that that isn't an official trailer cuz it's a little too awesome. And they gave away that Fried Shrimp was a weapon.

Oh and if referencing The Room, I think it needs to be in a thread titled Best Trailer For Best Film Ever. Maybe that's a stretch, but I cannot believe that anyone who's experienced The Room would ever talk ill of it.

Mr. Stitches just broke my brain. At least with Geisha I was laughing... but the puppet lowered my IQ in a more permanent way.

Yeah... the trailer actually has more depth than the movie. Ain't that always the way?

If you're interested, and think you can make it through 7:00, here's a clip from the guy's public access show:

Be warned. He writes his own music, too.

Consider it queued!

How did you find out about this thing, C2V?

The fact that it's on Netflix is a crying shame. I will say this, though... the acting and the special effects are both SO bad that I did find myself laughing through a good portion of the movie.

Long story short: I have friends in Roanoke. One of them came to Knoxville back in February for a weekend and told me about this guy on their public access. We watched some of the show clips on YouTube.

Fast-forward to late March, and I'm up in Roanoke. My friend had told me that he'd found a rack full of local films, consignment, in a store in town and that there was a full-length Mr. Stitches movie. I get into town and he's purchased a copy of the DVD for me.

If you end up watching the movie (I dare not call it a film), please let me know. I'd love to video chat on iChat and see/hear your analysis. I just don't think text would be as amusing. And if Netflix doesn't deliver soon, or you just can't take the anticipation, let me know. I'd be more than happy to loan you my copy.
