Totally just bought my first HV20...any recommendations as far as brand of wide angle lens to buy? And I need the 43mm correct?

The Canon WD-H43 0.7X is what i use , its a fairly good lens.

From what I gather, Raynox makes one that gives you less barrel distortion than the Canon. They make a 43mm version, but apparently you get better results using their 52mm version with a step-up ring (43mm to 52mm). Using a 43mm to 52mm step-up ring also affords you better options for lens filters.
