T2i Won't Record Video

I was recording videos for a few hours, but I was transferring the files onto my computer and deleting them from my memory card. Now, I can't record any video. My memory card is empty, I charged my battery to full, but it says, in red that I have 00:00 recording time left. Does anyone know how to take care of this?

Hmm, maybe my manual is in my attic and I don't feel like digging through everything to get it out. It's much easier if someone was to tell me.

The best way to format the card in-camera is to simply hold the camera, lens facing down, about 2-3 feet above a hard surface, such as concrete. Count to three and then let it go.

The others are wrong. Their methods only work on the professional cameras 5D, 7D, 1D. The only way to format on the T2i is to use the hard ground method. This is the number one drawback of the camera, especially if you are shooting on the beach or in a swamp. When you get the manual out of the attic you will see we are right. The internet is full of all kinds of bad info on these cameras. Have you started using 4k yet? That can also effect the formatting process. You will need at least 2 more feet of distance to format.
