New Grabs,and footage

Just a suggestion, when the guy closes the garage door, you can still cut it like you did, but maybe keep the sound of the door closing, so it doesn't sound so rough.

ok wreck2 good point ill do that.
I just did the color in adobe premiere pro 2,and this one guy told me to crush the blacks
so I did it.
thanks merc.

The DVX100b with the Letus flip 28mm Nikon, and 50mm Nikon lens
I made some of my own settings in the camera, and then did my editing in adobe premiere pro 2
and went to fast cc, and crush the blacks.

Coming along nicely Anthony, this footage looks real nice, vibrant full of color and very filmic. Looks like its gonna be a cool film when its all done!

The color grading is pretty good but the way it's edited is pretty terrible. I'm sure it's still rough but you have to cut down on all the crossfading, it makes it have a very amateurish feel to it.

Anyways, looks promising.

Yeah I agree Benjerama. We are going to be shooting most of this scene over.
I don’t like some of the angels I shot of the Boss; I think I should of show his face
More. I don’t like the scene of the tall guy standing in the doorway there that look
A little out of focus. And this time the guys will know the scrip better,
No unnecessary people will be on the set.
So am going to shoot this all over just because I know I can do a better job.

I think that's a good idea. It's not horrible... but it does feel like a "test run" of the scene.

The acting from the lead "boss" wasn't too bad, but everyone else lacked. You're the director, so help them find the characters a little better. Give more direction (or less) until you see the performance's start to seem natural.

I like a strong contrast, but this was too much in my opinion. Don't push ALL the whites to a point of blowout, and don't crush the blacks so much that it loses ALL detail. Just take it back a notch.

One thing I really don't get, is why the hell that dude stopped by a park to read 30 seconds of a book instead of just taking the package to bossman. Serious script flaw, if you ask me. If it doesn't perpetuate the story, cut it.

And one more: Keep working on audio. It was pretty much all over the place...

I'm not trying to sound harsh, just pointing out things that could use a bit of improvement. Good job, and keep it up:Drogar-SunGlass(DBG

I dunno... just my .02...

I think the images are almost there. Have to agree with Ryan above on just about everything he said. One other point I noted. Sometimes you were pulling focus, from or to things totally unrelated to the story. DOF and focus pulls, should be used to push the story, not just because you can. Again .. just my 2c.

Hey Ryan very good points I do agree . It looks amateurish so I talk to the guys
we are going to shoot it all over.
The one guy who open the garage with the red jacket on cut his hair so he wont be in it.
and this time i'll be taking my time, and i'll bring a field monitor out,and put the shot gun
mic on a boon stand. i'll get it right this time !
thanks everybody for your opions
