Wish list for PP CS4

Just tried that; same thing happens for me.

Not sure why, though, you want to have the main window on the right-side monitor? You can take all the subwindows out and move them around as you please. Then, it should stay as you had it.

I have mine set up with the media bins on the left monitor and the main window (timeline and preview/trimming windows) on the right monitor.

I have that same problem with the main window on the right. WHen I start up Premiere, it open both windows on the left monitor but I figured out a trick:

If you minimize Premiere and maximize it again, the windows appear in the correct place (main on the right, media bins on the left).

It's kinda annoying but you get used to it. It's really not a big deal although it is strange.

For my wishlist:

1. Keep adding support for ALL camera formats as Adobe has been doing.
2. OMF support for Protools although you can probably use AAF files since Protools supports AAF now.
3. When you drag your clips, I wish you could SEE them while dragging like in Vegas. It makes lining up waveforms and stuff SOOOO much easier. I think that would be an awesome little change and make editing more efficient.
4. Not be so friggin processor intensive.
5. The ability to export your timeline into Soundbooth or Audition as a multitrack project this way you have access to the media files (allowing you to have handles, etc). That's a BIGGIE for me.

Did you by any chance install a codec pack after you installed Premiere ?
I remember this being a problem for me a few years ago, but it caused the apps to crash or it gave the could not compile movie error.

Nope, complete clean. It seems to be a problem with the project itself. I believe that Premiere project tends to "degrade" in term of stability as the amount of raw footage and effects/processing applied increase. After a while it starts developing a lot of strange bugs, including this compiling movie error.
