Will this work for a MacBook Pro?

I have been looking for a way to offload directly from a P2 card onto my macBook and was wondering if anyone has some insight. I found an adapter that goes into the Express Card slot and allows PCMCIA cards to be inserted. It can be found here:

Does anyone know if this would work to offload footage?

I had a Duel PCMCIA to Express Card adapter and it stopped working when
I updated to Leopard. I've never gotten it to work after that and use my old
Windows laptop to drain cards now.

I preferred using the Mac because it also has the P2 card formatting software .. so
you can drain and reformat right there.

wow, they're $110.... why not just connect the camera directly to the laptop via firewire and do the transfer like that? unless situations prohibit a work flow like that, i'd take that approach.

That appears to be the duel adapter.

It should work in Leopard; has for many here.
