Will nikon f-mount adapter allow AIS lens?

I just ordered a nikon F mount to EOS adapter for the 7D, does this mean i can use AIS lenses to?

just watch the metal protrusion as it may bang the EOS electronic contacts

AIS lenses are F mount as well. AIS is not a mount. All Nikon SLR lenses are F mount. They have been since 1959 and are still that in 2010.

Not quite. Nikon did make some lenses in other mounts but the vast majority are all F mount.
