Well given I am on OSX, I am really not worried. 
Its because this lame guy didnt had idea what he was talking about , he said heat is not a problem anymore and grain is less visible in 4k , also asked about 60p for 5d he said "sure it will happen" but he doesnt even code and doesnt have knowledge and experience to even say those things ,how he could know that "it will happen" if he isnt the one who codes ,people were asking about other cameras (60D/7D/500D) and he made decisions if those cams will be hacked (and he said they will be and they do something about it.. yeah sure)like if he had ANY knowledge about hacking cameras, he had none and was afraid to even talk to hackers.But i doubt that there was some real actual hacker/coder on chat during this "conference".
I think Those guys were a bit overexcited about MLantern firmware that unlocked many things on 550D and made up stupid 4k story.
But the truth is that ISOs and shutters were in sourcecode from a long time(2009yr),there is still not enough research of DIGIC to play with video functions like fps and frame size.I mean there is some info about fps and 20p leftovers from 500D but it wasnt tested.

Still waiting for that day since July 2003 when I bought my first mac PowerBook and have never looked back since. Not that it isn't possible, I am SURE without doubt that it is, but no one seems bothered to try, and I am fine with that. (I used to sysasmin for a network of Sun Ultra machines, and even traced a hacker through 3 countries before, and turned him into the FBI.

If this turns out to be fake, I really can't think of another reason they'd go through all this trouble besides trying to bug everyones computers. People really should be cautious with this one.

or they could want to brick a whole lot of t2i's, maybe in payback for bricking their own who knows, or it could be some wunderkind who has managed to bend the laws of physics to his will ... but I doubt it.

yup, that's what I have been saying all along. I dont believe for a second these clowns hacked anything. It's amazing to see people that want so bad to believe it could be real. As if they know in their heart it's not, but want 4k so bad, they still have an inkling of hope.
Im finding this thread to be entertaining in a funny way.
