Who is going to NAB 2010 and is there a DVXUSER meet up?

I'll be there.

No word yet on any official "DVXuser party", though I'm sure we'll throw one together if there is interest?

Check the NAB Show site for hotels, I never realized how much cheaper they offer them there for!
 
Yeah it was!

Though a larger mixer event with a lower price (It's been free in years past) for those that want to come but can't afford it would it much more in line with DVXuser's style.

I'll see what we can do.

I put the event together last year and will have no problem doing it again if someone desires it :) - concerning the price it was a little high but such was the type of restaurant, however I should have no problem finding something half that price and lower. I also thought of inviting someone to do a mini lecture in our field. Let me know your thoughts on this and if we get enough people together then maybe we can put something together really inexpensive but very fun for all of us. I have been offline much of this year due to my business growing some 200% :) but I have several project lined up that I will showcase online soon.

Cinevate will be there and I can guarantee I'll be at this event if details are finalized soon enough. For that matter, Jason (Ramsey), if you need a few funds for this event, we'll sponsor it. Keep us in the loop! With all the crap email flooding my inbox with NAB spam, this is one event that doesn't need any promotion in my book.

I just realized that my post count here just passed 2000...apparently that makes me a regular here or something.
 
We'll be there covering the eco-friendly features the NAB show is taking in 2010. We're heading out the Sunday April 11th to attend the Panasonic press conference to kick off the show. Very interested in a DVXuser meet-up... I'll watch this thread closely!
 
Both Zac and I will be going. Plans are being made with "Landmine" for us to make a series of videos covering the exhibit floors. Videos will benefit the members of "ScarletUser DVXuser/REDuser" who cannot make it to the event.

Press credentials and hotel arrangements have been taken care of.

We are really looking forward to it!

sounds great (as usual), Dennis. Let's talk. maybe we can do this up and have a "real" event this year, as opposed to a "let's meet for dinner"
