Which HVX should I get?

I live in the UK so I need to film in 24p, 25p, 50p and 60p, under and over cranking for slo-mo effects, and I need to have the improvements included with the HVX-200a.

I've been researching for years, and getting a bit of a headache trying to find one that does all of the above. :Drogar-Evil(DBG):

Which Panasonic HVX camera does the above?

Thanks

depends on what type of video work you'll be doing.....for short films and videos i'd get the 170 and a bunch of p2 cards

thanks for the advice people. I just saw a cheap used HVX200 with P2 8GB Card and case on ebay for £2000 so I snapped it up :)

If it doesnt meet my needs, I'll sell and get a 170 and we'll see!

Thanks again guys

damn...cameras don't hold value worth a ^%$#, lol. how many hours of usage on that hvx you bought?

lol yeah... 148 hours on the tape deck.

I've decided to go ahead and splash out on an HPX-170 as I want the low noise under low light as well as the HVX line's colour ability. So now I'm re-selling this one.

I'm getting a G35 too though, with HVX mount, so I'm hoping it'll fit the HPX-170!

Agreed.

I own the 200b and I haven't noticed any difference from the original HVX.

HPX on the other hand is a different story.

Yeah, the HVX200b is the same as the original more or less, in terms of image. The HPX 170 is supposed to be more or less the same as the 200a in terms of image (but wider angle lens).

My HVX Is a HVX200E
