Where do you get EOS to Micro 4/3 adapter?

The only EF to Micro Four Thirds adapter that I've found is from Hong Kong. Only one seller makes it, which is why.

You need to keep in mind that the EOS lenses have electronically actuated apertures so you'll need to shoot wide-open most of the time. A method to get around this is to put your lens on an EOS body, set it desired aperture, and hold down the "preview' dof button and dismount the lens. You can remount it on your EF-mount adapter and it will have the desired aperature.

Posted this in another thread:
Borg makes an EF-mount to u4/3rds adapter. The problem is that it's still pretty cumbersome, obvious it's entirely manual since it has no electrical contacts. Shooting wide-open isn't a problem, but changing the aperture is still very tricky at the moment.

I just bought one from here: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Canon-EOS-len...34.c0.m14.l1262&_trkparms=|301:1|293:1|294:30

Cannot wait to use it with my 10-22mm EF in movie mode :)

It will be very interesting indeed and since it's such a wide lens I can't see the lack of OIS and AF really being a pain.

The adapter worked out at just £55 inc. expedited delivery. The seller seems to have a flat rate of delivery the world over, which is quite generous - free for standard shipping, just 9 dollars extra for the faster option.

I believe these items are very rare indeed and that seller is also the manufacturer of the actual product - one of only 2 I believe.

I ordered the nikon to micro from China for my Nikon lenses!

My m42 lenses have a m42 to nikon thin adapter that is super thin. So I will just use the M42's with the M42>>Nikon on the Nikon >> Micro 4/3 adapter. Luckily the flange on the 4/3 cameras is shallow cause the mirror is gone...

What M42 adapter is that? I am unaware of any M42 adapter for nikon that allows focus to infinity, without optical elements added in the mix.

Bergen adapter expected Feb 2012

Bergen adapter expected Feb 2012

Hi,
I just spoke to Steve at VCP who told me that Bergen were in the process of making a custom EOS to Micro four thirds adapter that what have full electrical contact capability for focus etc. He expected it to arrive in Feb 2012 though it is going to be pricey, no confirmed price yet but he expected it to retail for £500 :Drogar-Kriz(DBG):. Regards Ray

Other than the EF adapter above that had an aperture of its own, have any of the other adapters you guys listed here have aperture control?

Fotodiox via amazon will get you one in the USA. It is $30 and has very tight tolerances.

not true! I bought this adapter at amazon a month ago and I really hate it. The tolerance is not even close to average.
Waste of money IMHO.
