When will Panny upgrade the HMC150?

Here's to hoping that the faster SDXC cards will enable overcranking with variable frame rates in the AVCHD format on cameras like the 150.

What I'd like in an upgrade:

1. An improved LCD screen and higher resolution viewfinder
2. Less noise (Canon have shown what is possible with the 1D mark 4, with similar technology in the 150 maybe we could use 24 db gain without any problems)
3. Second SDHC slot so that I can have some redundancy incase a card crashes

What I think is more likely:

1. Sensor from hpx300, it's the same size after all so shouldn't be too difficult. I suspect it is a cheaper option for them as well.
2. Better LCD and maybe viewfinder.

A viewfinder and lcd screen I can actually see clearly. My $40 7" VGA LCD screen from hong kong is way clearer.

Speaking of.. If the camera could be selected to output VGA through the component out, then I could use a simple component to VGA cable to hook up my screen instead of having to use a transcoder.

Oh and full raster CCD's. 1/2" would be nice. :)

Not a fan of cmos.

AVC-Intra 50 is supposed to be just as good as dvcprohd minus the 4:2:2 color space and only takes up half the disk space.

The problem with 1/2" ccds is the heat output in a camera this size would probably require a noisy fan to keep it working properly. JVC stuck to 1/3" ccds on its hm700 with a native resolution of 1280x720. Rolling shutter is no fun IMO.

Can you tell us where you scored the $40 LCD? I'd like to get my hands on one that cheap.
