What's the best ratio to use when converting?

I've converted to a quicktime file with a ratio of 240x320. I was just curious what everybody else is using, since this is my first time.

Marlon, do you mean 320 (width) x 240 (height)?

I don't know. I think it's 320 height and 240 width.

Do you still check the "constrain the aspect ratio" box to 16x9? No matter what?

This might be a dumb question, but I shot in "squeeze" mode on the DVX, so where does the 16x9 ratio that they requested actually come in to play? I thought it was when you converted the file.

I'm not familiar with the squeeze mode on the DVX.
But your resolution will look like a box (see below), not 16:9

Unless you stretch it or crop it.

I did 600x224, for the 2.35:1 aspec ratio.

i went with a pretty standard 640x360

Mine is 853x480 since I uprezzed to anamorphic and used Quicktime's 16:9 export in size options.

Wait. I think i need to re-encode. Ha!

I think I just uploaded with the small size (I had several diff. versions) at the best resolution - 320x240. I'll probably definately go bigger next time.
