took longer than I thought...
I'm currently using the BT-LH80, and would say all the same things -- built like a tank, has the waveform (and the pixel-to-pixel, which is so handy on the AF100), but yes it was expensive, and powering it is nowhere near as convenient as these new little monitors with their little batteries, and it's too big and heavy to use on-camera. So I've been looking at the TV Logic, and keep getting sidetracked by the reports on the Cineroid... no major rush though, and the way things are going and how quickly monitors are coming out, I figure I can wait the five weeks and see what'll happen at NAB.Using the LH900A which is fabulous, built like a tank and has a waveform... but it was expensive, and I hate the little cable that goes from the control box to the monitor...and its too heavy to mount on the camera...so I also have been noodling getting something lighter/smaller...probably the Marshall as I've used a friends a few times...but all this talk about the smallhd has me intrigued.
My BT-LH80 has been relegated to the dustbin of history...
I'm planning on using the Ikan V8000 HD, anyone have any experience with that...?

The ikan V8000 is an extremely old monitor. I would probably recommend ikan's VX7 or VX9 because both have HD-SDI in and out. Here is a link to the VX7.

My vote is for the TV Logic 5.6". Been shooting interviews all over the state this week and I find myself trusting it more than the 17" Panasonic monitor.
