It is already sharp wide open but is not too sharp for video like the Panasonic lenses, was around 60$ and is a great value for it if you are going budget and doing video just as a hobby. Macro function is a plus, you can get quiete close.
Rght now it's the 25mm voigtlander. BUT... Picked up a 35mm FD TS f2.8 which has been more and more often the go to... Been thinking of the 17mm canon TS but the price is keeping me from it.
I mostly only use 2 lenses.
1st most used, is the Nikkor 24mm f2.8 for almost everything.
2nd most used is the Panny 14-42m for wides. Considering replacing this with the Tokina 11-16 soon.
3rd, Nikkor 50mm f1.8 for occasional closeups but barely use it.
I also have a few other lenses that pretty much sit around collecting dust.
20mm pancake almost all the time. I'll use the kit lens for wides although I'd love a fast 12mm. A Nikon 50mm 1.7 for telephoto and I usually have a monopod when using 50mm and up. Given the option I'd trade for the 25mm F1.4.
Totally depends on what I'm shooting. General purpose for exteriors - panny 14-140. Interviews - contax zeiss 50mm f1.7. Lots of others in the bag, but those two mainly
