What kind of shot is this? long or wide or what?

That's a wide angle shot for sure. The tell tale signs are the buidings on either side and the over all point of view you would not have zoomed in.
Any wide angle lens like the Tokina 11 - 16 will get you shots like that.
I'm not saying it's as wide as the Tokina can do, but it's definitely not a "long" shot.

Looks a tad wide to me, although not enough to give perspective distortion. I'd have guessed something between 20mm and 30mm on a 7D.
