What do you drive?

What the poo poo are you smoking??

Absolutely nothing you biased son of a gun! :) Just the exterior body styles alone of the two models makes it an easy pick. I mean I will grant you Ford did a nice job but the '09 Camaro is grade A. Simply beautiful.

I also had the honor of taking an up close look at the Chevrolet Bel Air concept and boy do I wish they would put THAT into production.

Oh, but as far as bringing back old muslce cars, Dodge takes the cake with the new Challenger:

I don't like the new Mustang body styles. I like my '03 much better.

Of course, I like this too and it's a Ford...

That's weird looking.

You mean "awsome looking?"

Yeah, I'd have to agree. Def one of the nicest cars of 2008 without having to clear 7 digits or more a year

P.S. I'd have to disagree with you on the Camaro/Mustang thing... Camaro, C- in my opinion. I just really don't like it, and the interior is way too plain. My step dad has a Mustang, and I'd only give it maybe a B. Challenger on the other hand, an easy A+

I actually meant stupid looking...

I don't know how you can say that if you're into classic cars at all. Dodge kept this car as close to the original (definitely a classic by the way) as possible while still making it look like a 2008 vehicle. I, for one, think they did an amazing job. Plus, if you've ever seen one of these in action, there's no way you'd ever turn one down.

I'm very much into classic cars. I think the problem is they're trying to make new cars have that classic look and I just don't like that at all. It doesn't matter what it is - Mustang, Camaro, Charger, they just look kind of dumb to me. I'm just not a fan.

I think the only retro type car that really looks great is the Ford GT, but that's a completely different story. They merely used an old design as a basis. The GT40 was way ahead of it's time back in the 60's though...

Agreed. Dodge has done the best job of resurrecting that muscle car look that was destroyed in the 80's and 90's and early 2000's. Definitely did a great job of adding a modern twist to an old design in a world where most new cars look average and very similar.

PS: Tom, nice job not replying to my PM...was it too long for you to read at one sitting?

Tom, I definitely agree with you on the Ford GT. The 08 GT looks about 90% like the GT40 did in 65, and still looks like a top of the line sports car, which says a lot about the designers at Ford like 45 years ago. It seems weird that no one else picked up on that design until like 20 years later. Still pretty amazing that a design that old can still hold up today.
