what camcorder

Not APS-C, but Sony's RX 10s and 100s are popular and Canon has the XC10/15, but the zoom (where applicable) is not the same as a good ole fashioned solid rocker.

Panasonic has a few as well.

If you're now bouncing into cameras that don't offer zooming, you have many more options...various interchangeable systems with lots of features.

But its quality looks nice online.

don't understand what you mean with But its quality looks nice online
ANyway, actually i still want zoom, can have some less than a camcorder but i still want it!

Just saying it looks nice if you did choose it.

But $1400 for it with a fixed lens is a commitment.

Would rather get the X-S10 for $1K which has IBIS and other features, and use the $400 towards a zoom so you could at least zoom manually.

Or one of the kits:

i have an xt3..really don't need a xs10 :). also i wanto a different way to shot than the one with a mirrorless, want a quick one, typical of camcorder

The X100V is a dumbed-down X-T3 with a prime glued to it.

If you mean you want to be challenged into making creative decisions based on the fixed focal length, I hear you...that's why a lot of people like point-and-shoots such as these.

ahh no i did not understand it has a prime

ok it seems like choice are zv1, or rx10m4 or ax700..zv1 is cheaper than the others..don't know if it is too much videoblog oriented..i am not using for it, but for documenting what i see around...

I am still a little puzzled about what you want. You say you want image quality of 1" yet ZV1 and RX10 are only HD camcorders and AX700 is limited to 30P at UHD. So limited in their capabilities. Another option for you is to sell the XT3 and get a new Panasonic GH5Mark2 with a 14-140 zoom lens. Get an excellent still and video camera in one unit that can also stream to friends and family . Some may say the XT3 is better than the Panasonic GH5 Mark2 but if you are happy moving to the ZV1 or RX10 I am not sure you would see the difference.

All of the cameras he mentioned are 4K.

stefanocps, the ZV-1 has great AF. The best of any cameras mentioned in this thread besides the G60, which should be comparable.

it looks like you want upset all of my plan :)
those camera, as Norbro already said, are 4k. Yes they are 30p but there are not choice at this level.
I never said i want to sell my XT3 as i like a lot, and never want to but a GH5..for a simple reason
I want somehting that has a different use than a mirrorless, quick, small and always ready to shot
SO beside my XT3 for certain situation i want to have somehting Just like a camcorder, that allow me to quickly zoom in/out and have a good af in most situation, stabilization, perhaps nd filters...all in the machine

So..yes i might like gh5, xs10, blackmagic and so on..but it is not what i want
I want a camcorder or a camera that act similar to a camcorder!

so in case i choose a camcorder you say canon is better than ax700

It's about the features...it will be better in some ways but maybe not in others.

I have a love-hate relationship with camcorders because they are so amazingly useful but have lackluster IQ compared to modern tools with bigger sensors and better engineering.

To be honest with you, I don't think you will see much of a quality difference between most of the recommended choices here and the AX700.

What you'll see is better AF, or a better zoom range, or a bit more shallow DOF (like with the ZV-1's starting aperture of f/1.8 vs. the AX700's f/2.8). That's why I would personally upgrade a camcorder, or for 4K/60p, etc. but not for much quality improvement (unless the systems are many years apart or have a huge gap in price which usually provides a better codec/format or more data).

i have some feeling about camcorder, they have lots of feature but compared to same level camera thay have not same iq..and i can't understand why. But a camcorder it is a camcorder with all its benefit and i am not sure a compact camera like zv1 can equal, even if it might have a little better iq. Also a camera like zv1 will come out enough cheaper than the camcorder, and this is not to underestimate for me...but still it seems too vlog oriented
So if i understand well , you ll go fo a camcorder right? but necessarily 4k/30p as i don't see more option in this range..

If I was looking for a camera like this, it would definitely be a real camcorder and not a stills or bridge camera that can zoom.

The G60 was the only camcorder I personally purchased in the last 8 years or so after the Panasonic HPX250 (great camera for its time) because of its price and AF.

But if these companies would stop joshing around, and make legit camcorders with 1" plus sensors with fast and constant aperture lenses (no silly f/2.8 - f/5.6 ones) and all of the features the photography cameras get, that would be nice.
