Interviewing Henry Lincoln, auther of 'The Holy Blood and the Holy Grail' in a few days time.

Re: What are you shooting?

wholly crap I didnt post that first post.

Re: What are you shooting?

I shoot outdoor nature shots to use in elementary and middle school instructional DVDs. Currently I am working with Bemidji State Park (Bemidji, Minnesota) to develop an interactive DVD on the BogWalk
(http://www.dnr.state.mn.us/state_parks/lake_bemidji/index.html#).

I'm also getting requests from friends/family to shoot weddings. I have the time during the summer but when school starts it may be hard with fulltime teaching.

Re: What are you shooting?

I'm gaffing a low budget horror feature for a friend and am shooting behind the scenes and B-Camera footage. I haven't gaffed anything in over 3 years and it's hard not being the DP. Yesterday , which was day 2, we did a 16 hour day. Ouch. We hope to avoid those in the future.

Re: What are you shooting?

Just bought the camera for a 90 minute social documentary, can't say what.
Already picked up a spot on Monday and a corporate gig on Wednesday.
Other than the doc, I think it will mostly see corporate.

Re: What are you shooting?

I'm running a video production company and have been shooting alot of corporate Videos, 13 episode Horror Dramas , a fish documentary for Discovery Channel and all budget TVCs in DVX. Working on a 1 1/2 Telemovie early next year on HD.

Re: What are you shooting?

I shot a bus safety video for the school I work for and a cafeteria procedure video for the kiddies when they get back in September.

Re: What are you shooting?

We have four DVX 100s. We mainly shoot Weddings, gradutaion, recitals, and I do some stuff for our church. Weddings are fun but work, I mostly like to edit and do the final product. Though, I definitely love this camera at receptions in low light, it is a magical thing.

Re: What are you shooting?

Martial arts training videos, weddings, Tv commercials one beer and one energy drink, cooperate training and a how to wax a car video.

I am working on a low buget ($100,000) movie about a haunted historical house.

Re: What are you shooting?

Corporate videos & commercials mostly.
25 p all the way..
Love the camera, we are becoming good friends.

Re: What are you shooting?

I work full time for a University shooting everything from sports to academic projects. We just got a DVX100a for some of our shooting needs. I also personally own a DVC80 and shoot weddings, recitals, pretty much anything someone is interested in paying me to shoot or edit.

Gee, that's about the size of the budgets for each of my projects, only take the 1 off of the left side of that number. :)

Re: What are you shooting?

Budget ??? What's a budget?

I am shooting weddings in the summer. Then I divide the other 9 months with corporate/industrial stuff (when I can get it) and music videos and short films. I have yet to do much with the DVX though. Got some weddings coming up soon. Short film in the works.

Re: What are you shooting?

I just shot a little horror short.

I guess more horror will be on horizon.

mmmm horror.

Re: What are you shooting?

Did some "B" role for 'Tokyo Cowboys' coming soon to the film festival circuit, re-narrated 'Tsukiji' done about 1 year ago, and continue to work on 'Women in Noh' a one hour documentary about women characters in Japanese Noh plays (this has been a 3 year project - shot part of it on a JVC 500 before getting the panny.) Don't have a clue about when it will get done! Planning a Fall DVD on Guang Ping Yang Taichi (a little known form of Taichi.)
Rigged up a stablizer system using the marzpak and video innovator's shoulder harness setup with counter weights to balance out a 7" monitor and the cam. It's proving to be interesting. At some point will put up a pic on the stablizer. It kind of reminds me of a star trek space ship. Floats pretty well. Still working out the bugs.
In general, looking for paid camera work!
