Lovely... Jimmy Page joined the Yardbirds (th yt-link I posted yesterday) a bit later and replaced Jeff Beck. Before that Jeff Beck replaced Eric Clapton...

Cape Canaveral by Connor Oberst.
"You taught me victory's sweet, even deep in the cheap seats."

The Yardbirds with Jimmy Page 1968 "Train Kept A Rollin"... simply great

And Eric Clapton (after he left the Yardbirds) with The Cream "Crossroads" (but the filmmaker was really bad...)

Edit: Hmm... what´s the matter with yt-links?
Edit2: Ok, I think I got it now. But it seems a bit more complicated than the older procedure...

I'm not sure what's up with the new YT coding. But it killed every youtube post in this thread up untill now which is a shame.
I understand with all of the updates going on this wouldn't be a priority but I hope it will get looked at.

Maybe music posts aren't important to some people. I would disagree. There are a lot of good links here and I'd hate to see them all get brushed off.

In the end it doesn't matter. We can post them all again under the new code. I haven't heard anything either way so I don't know.

Faces:Stay With Me. My first rock album. 1974 I think. Good band. This is obviously a get together after the fact.

Original. A lot nicer guitar sound.

meh, I can't find a studio version on YT. It's the best. I still have this record. First rock album I ever bought.

Miss Judys Farm. 1972. And yep, that would be about right. All of these are off the album "Faces: A Nod is as good as a wink. To a blind Horse."

//edit. The funny thing is, they don't have the big sound prodution going on. It's all almost, well, it is, momo. It's not modern studio production. I'm trying to imagine modern sound production on it, and I think it would still kick ass. Even more so if they redid this stuff in todays studios. Maybe they will record a few again. Probably not. But it would sound nice if they did. These live cuts are just sucking as far as sound goes. They need a new studio cut.

Anyways, I'm outta here for this Friday Night Fright Fight. Poo-poo off and take it easy. :beer:

//edit: I see they haven't checked for swear words yet. My F word showed up fine and dandy. But I retyped it to say poo poo. :)

^ One of the things I like about orchestra's is that every note played has an expression driving it.
Pop music in a way, has that, but not to the extent as found in orchestra's.
Nice song btw.

Steve Reich has been around for 'quite a while'.
I guess this is his most popular one on youtube(Music for 18 Musicians by Steve Reich - Beginning )

//Edit-a-mundo.

I like this one a little better for reasons of repetivity.
Steve Reich - Eight Lines

I'm not digging the classic violin sound. Maybe electric violins would be cooler sounding.
And maybe a little meatier sound on the bass. A good Jazz upright bass.
And you know what's missing? A good guitar solo over all of it. Someone like Satriani playing over top of this. That might be cool.

//More add ons:
Joe Satriani and interviews. Wow, Joe, and in this case, the new band, blow me away. Music starts slightly after the 50% mark.
