What are the lens-mount plans?

That would depend on the dimensions of the rail-system they're aiming for. The Redrock is designed for 15mm rods that are set 60mm apart, but some of the more pro setups use other specs.

It does raise a good point of what the red rail specs for the rods and distance set apart will be. Anyone at the Red team know this yet? Might give a few of the DIYers a chance to start making early prototype follow focus gear.

The rails should be industry standard which these days is 15mm for the light weight rods which are closer to the lens and 19mm for the Bridge plate rods which are at the tripod mount level. Indeed if you look at this pic http://red.com/images/cages/6.jpg you can see the 2 rod systems. All the common follow focus systems will fit on one or other (or both) of these formats. Generally heavy weight gear goes on the Bridge plate supports and light weight gear on the...light weight supports.

I would imagine RED would aim for industry standard and, if need be, offer specialized version of the RED Rails should the need/demand arise. I'd start planning on looking into the Redrock microFollow Focus sooner rather than later.
