Whaa! Zombies?

at the end, it was suppose to say "to be continued" but I saw a snickers commercial when I was editing and it made me think of a got milk ad.. yea its weird. my freinds didnt get it either hah. hungry? why wait?

Lyons, I'm glad u still diggin the old skool scripture..

No I don't compose my own music. Everything I do is pretty much guerilla, the song playing in the background of that scene is a sample I downloaded from somewhere.

Someone ask If I used any outdoor lights, I had a 1000 watts home depot light. We only used it for 2-4 shots, we had a white bounce card most of the time.

heres a clip. This happens right after "got milk"

Hiro, the second clip had some great acting. Usually one sees good cinematography here, but it's great to see someone get good performances out of actors. That is WAY more important than "what settings did you use?" or "which brand of lights is best?". Story is everything. And the only way to tell a good story is if the acting is pro and the script is solid. Good job.

thx jrv for the comments, for me this scene was a big accomplish for me directing-wise. I'm still learning and sometimes its hard but when you do start to get it, its like "hell yea" I wanted to work more on the physical acting in this scene rather than cheesy dialogue.

"you have to kill me..I will be a zombie"
"yes, i have to shoot you.. your arm is infected"
"I will get on my knees and submit to you"

Sofia pulls the trigger and prances away.

Hiro, i remember your short for the zombie fest and i thought it was one of the better ones. I really loved the emotion conveyed with her killing her friends in that one. The date rape part after they chased the kid kind of got me lost for a sec though. I wasnt sure what was happening for that section but the scenes where they are all running in the woods were great. You should complete that one, you have great emotional tension going.

Wow man that was sweet. The editing, sound, etc. etc. was all very pro feeling. The flow of the clip was very cool and smooth. Great work, I wan't to see more.

theres a couple more in here.

These images are STUNNING!! They're CCed SOOO good that you'd think that the day actually LOOKOED like it did in the video. it's CRAZY. maaan, I envy you so. I gotta hurry and get this Mac Pro!!

I remember this one as well, I really like the "eyes" nice work. The zombiefest was great. I am finally making my zombie short that I started for the fest. Nice work!

I'm kind of torn over a couple of things- I really liked the eyes, aside from the blood and bits o' flesh hanging from the mouth, it says "Hey! I'm a fricken Zombie!" Where I feel torn, is the color grading. Yeah, it really made the Zombies look like monsters, but I thought the camera had been badly white balanced or something when it came to the rest of the people.

Overall, I did like it. The acting was good, the shots were great, as was the editing.

You actually own one?!? I could probably count on one hand all the ones I've actually seen. Personally, I'm a Black Shadow fan.

We used it in the Hero Fest short we did .Instead of a car for a hit 30's style we used the SQ4.

Only in my dreams could I afford a Black Shadow ...They are nice !!.
