There's nothing I disagree with in your statement but just so we're clear - I definitely had the issue with the Lexar USB 3.0 readers on High Sierra as well.

Oh yeah, I know. That was the first card reader I bought when I bought the C200 but after talking to an engineer w EgoDisk, I got rid of it, bought the Sandisk and never looked back.
