Maybe Jarred should install another filter, but instead of replacing inappropriate words with "poo poo" it could replace Jared with Jarred :cool:

Just watched another episode of the third season of Kung Fu. Now I'm going to sleep.

Hey...it's a long weekend coming up, so I ain't worried about it. Plenty of time to watch our films. :)

can't wait - although the categaories made me stressed for all the short cuts I took to get this thing in "on time" :eek:

2¢ on categories:
- Can see that DP and lighting are seperate due to seperate prizes.
- In future contests maybe the non prize sponsored categories can be recognized "with special achievment in"... editing, directing, acting, and could therefor be categories. (otherwise I think the overall rating should not be auto-tallyed)
- Don't think we have to be academy awards and recognize everything - but script and cinematography are doing a lot of duty that belong in other categories (editing and directing) directing = i.e., does this thing hold together, is it unified, does it work,

BUT ... for this contest ... I think following Barry's advice, none of the above is a problem ... while a film may be more or less than the sum of its technical parts -- just tweak your scores till the overall rating makes sense to you.

We either need a beer smiley that works or a brand new and improved "I want my junior mints! We need more people who care! I'm mad as hell and I'm not gonna take it anymore!" smiley. I'd settle for either.
