Seems like I get 70 - 85 KB/s if I do one or two at a time but that goes down to 50,30, 10,1, .05KB/s depending on how many I'm downloading so I try to keep it to 2 at a time.

I still go through and right click download all of them but then I stop the new ones, but I have all the links to all the films in the download window and can just hit the resume arrow to download them 2 at a time.

When does voting close?

I've finally downloaded all the films but have only watched 10 and voted on only 1.

Hope the voting continues atleast through this weekend so I can marathon like I planned to last weekend.
 
The voting will close next weekend, so we have 2 solid weeks of voting. That should be enought time to DL and vote, I think.
 
I guess Mac users cannot vote. I have tried logging on but it keeps giving me the "enter valid email" error message. However, when I logged on using the PCs at work I was able to get in. Strange

I am pretty certain that ASCII is not a MAC/PC dependent character set. However, the login is likely case dependent, so you might want to be certain that you are in fact, entering the same information from both locations.
 
Ive got a mac and pc in front of me.. and it works on both.

Could be a cookie thing too.. make sure your cookies are turned on.
 
Okay could I get definitive answers on these questions please?

1. What day and time will the voting be closed?
2. When will the winners be announced?
3. Do zombies really exist? (The hand I used in my film just twitched...so I'm a little concerned right now)

its probably a soft deadline -- "hmmm likes like 30% of films haven't been voted on, lets wait till morning" "hmmm looks like thats about 99% lets shut 'er down" Or more than likely they haven't even thought about that yet ... you know how it is around here

1.Voting will close on Sunday night, the 9th of October. I am going to say 11:59pm, give 30 or so minutes.

2. Winners will be announced on the 15th of October. I know 5 days to count votes makes it look like we are retarded, but we need to check each vote to make sure its accurate, and cross reference all the entries to make sure the winners sent in the DVD's, Then I gotta get the lotto ball out to select what entrants im randomly giving batteries out to.

Well...I'll be away from my computer after Wednesday... Hopefully, I'll be able to find the last film needed to be voted for. It says I've done 78 of 79, but that last one just doesn't seem to want to come up. I gave up after an hour last night.
 
Random Batteries?? YES!! I might win something yet. Put several of my number in there. This contest gets better and better every day.

Okay, this is messed up...I'm voting for the films and films I've already voted for are coming up again with no indication I have already voted for them. I tried logging out and back in again and the same thing happened.

The real question is, can this method of voting be trusted? Has anyone else encountered this problem?
 
dont worry dude.. you probally lost your cookie. Its all good though, because we have the database that shows exactly where every vote came from, so if we see two from you or anyone, we will kill it :)
