Just figured I would throw this up for anyone interested. My business partner shot this and had no idea how we were gonna put it together so I decided to try out giving it a straight VHS feel. Pretty happy with the results!
VHS never looked that bad. Some slight color separation around contrasty edges but often that was more a product of badly calibrated CRT displays than wear on a tape. VHS got fuzzy after time, but it never looked this bad. Plus your footage has the sharpness of Progressive scan.
