Well it took them 7 days to answer! But essentially you just need to strip the camera of mic etc and put it between the plastics. Weird but apparently its safe like that...
 
Yes, I had the same box, it works really well. Just take off all unnecessary items (microphone, lens, solid state card cover etc). The plastic sticks to, and wraps tightly around the camera. Interestingly the camera was returned in a box with moulded foam pieces around it instead!
