using daylight balanced 1x1 Litepanels with the C300: temperature sweet spot???

Question for anyone who has used daylight balanced Litepanel 1x1 lights with the Canon C300:

In your experience, what is the best or sweet spot color temperature to dial in?

The reason I ask is because when I dial in 5600K I find the picture too yellowish.
I've actually had to dial down to 4500K to get the right color temperature with 5600K Litepanel 1x1s.
Is this normal?

I"ve recently put together a LED light kit, and while not Lite panels , I find that in my case the lights have a higher color temp than 5600 but very good cri. I think you have to be prepared when using LED lights to make some small adjustments with gells to get them exactly on the money color temp wise if that's what you want.

CRI = "color rendering index" which is a measurement of the color accuracy of the the light. Lights with over a 90 CRI are going to to have few nasty color spikes in them as compared to lower CRI value sources. You can use a color meter to check out your lights and see where they fall color temp wise and how much they deviate along the magenta - green axis.

Used a couple 1x1 daylight floods and just added the 1/4 CTO to each panel at full blast which gave a nice warm daylight feel dialing in anywhere from 4800-5600k on camera... the litepanels dip into a green shift a bit below 100% so be prepared to use minus green. Not sure about the tungsten or bi-color LPs.
