power source to p2 store interrupted during card download. ac power was pulled during the download of an 8gb card. i have turned the store back on and receive an error red light message. i have turned it off and on several times and this problem persists. i am afraid that i will not be able to download the footage that is on the store from previous card to my laptop. how can i get rid of the error message? pls. advise.

On the bottom of the ERROR LED display pages, (E-29 and E-30) of the P2 store manual, it say's "To clear the error display, press the [power] button and [cancel] button together." After clearing the error, I guess you would try to download the files again.

Strangely enough power outages have been on my mind. When I am at my office doing files transfer I almost never worry about it. However theer have been some times on location where I came across a grip about to bust power on a circuit I was using to power my laptop set up and that gets a little freaky.
Since a couple of those incidents were narrowly averted and I recent had a client unplug a hard drive that having files transerred to it, I have become much more mindful of data transfer situations while on location. Working with File based video is a very zen process and you have to be careful during transitions from one state to another.

did you get the files off the store? This gives me pause as I think about our shoot in India. Battery back up will be key.
