Updated to 10.5 and now laptop doesnt see P2 card

I updated to 10.5.0 and computer G4 2.0 17 in with 2 gigs of ram and it wouldnt recognise the p2 card anymore. I went to Panasonics website and downloaded P2 driver and installed and it still doesnt work. I have updated to 10.5.3 and still nothing works. I know my slot works because I put my wireless card in there and it worked no problem.

Anyone have any issues like this. .?
