"unsound" - shot with the GH2

Thank you.. And yes it was shot at 1080/24p. The original version is significantly smoother, but unfortunately with the h.264 compression and vimeo encoding it looks a bit choppier!

Looks good! With regard to the lamp looking video-ish, I don't think it's a big deal that it blows out. The problem is the different-from-the-rest color temperature, but that can be dealt with in grading.

About the project - is it a short film or a longer project? And when can we see more?

OldCorpse - Thanks for pointing that shot out. I like how it blows out but definitely need to work on the color temperature when I do the final CC. The current version just has rough coloring..

Arvid - Also, many thanks for the pointers. Any suggestions for color workflow to match the light sources? I typically use Apple Color but also work with After Effects and Magic Bullet Looks.

The film is a short that was done on no budget and shot in one day. I'm hoping to screen it at some festivals and raise money to shoot a feature length version next year... I should have a final edit by the 15th of April!

Thanks naveenmedia! My lighting setup was quite minimal. I had a Lowell kit with me, but on most shots only used a single 500w light with diffusion on it. I had it placed on approximately a 45 degree angle from the talent. Some shots I added an additional 250w that was bounced off the ceiling for some additional fill.

Mainly I tried to work with the available light as I thought it looked great as is.. The bathroom footage was all natural light from the bulbs in the room. I unscrewed a couple to get the right exposure!

There are of course many ways, and I'm no expert, but why not key the yellow color in secondary color correction and desaturate it. Stu Maschwitz does similar things in this very helpful video, http://prolost.com/blog/2011/1/27/color-correcting-food-with-colorista-ii.html

Thanks again Arvid. The tutorial was very useful.. I cooled down the lamp a bit in Color and adjusted the curves accordingly. Couldn't be happier with the result.
