Unable to get P2 card footage into FCP for edit

Hi this is my first transfer from a P2 card into my computer and the clips appear to be locked.
according to the info from the card 13 GB have been transfer and when I import them in to FCP you can only see the thumbnails.

does any one knows what is going on or how can I get the the clips in to my hard drive to start editing?

this are my comp specs

What steps exactly are you taking 1) to transfer the footage to your computer, and 2) when you try to import the footage into FCP. Without that information, it is going to be pretty hard for someone to figure out if you are doing something incorrectly.

Assuming you are using FCP 6.0.4, which is the latest version, then you use log and transfer, not import.

But your information is so sparse, it's hard to help.
