Awesome. I'd normally feel jealous of somebody receiving a free camera, but PK and the kids over there deserve it.

Actually, for the longest time, I thought this was Barry Green.

Used the new camera today at the opening of a playground.

Funny, Barry invited me up to his room, but I cannot elaborate on those painful memories.
 
haha!! Not completely. Not yet, anyway. I'm heading out to Thailand next year as well, so I will get to hold the infamous BarryCam when I get there.

Well, yes, but you also have to devote your life to living in poverty just so you can help some of the most underprivileged and oppressed of God's children on earth. PK left a great career in Seattle to live among the destitute, trying to give them a better life and show them that they have options, teaching them english, saving their heads from motorcycle crashes, and handing out college scholarships.

So yeah, free HV20's for anyone who does that! :thumbsup:

Seriously, I'm hoping that we can rekindle some of PK's talented great filmmaking, and that he can use that to show what he's doing out there on the other side of the globe. He's a great man, and a great spirit.

Plus, it was kind of fun to yell at foreign pirates and I'm there shouting "thief! Pirate! Pornographer!" etc., and PK is patiently translating from english to Thai. Of course, he also joined in and heckled the thieves, so that was pretty cool.

Wow, ninjas have gotten really lame over the years. They've resorted to just wearing t-shirts and ski masks. Not very stealthy if you ask me (or any American criminal, for that matter).

You'd be amazed at the lack of source images on the Internet for both Barry, and Ninjas.

Not that that's any excuse for that particularly atrocious Photoshop job.

I concur. Barry is very generous, as are many members of DVXuser. PK is also a very deserving recipient. I try to help when I can but Barry went into the next level with that one.
 
Finally got my setup working well enough to edit some HD footage. It's just your basic "hey-i've-got-a-new-camera-but-no-script-so-i'll just-shoot-some-flowers-and-trees" stuff.

Guess the song and from which movie it's in and you'll WIN a cookie.
