Tuesday's With Barry

That music was featured in one of your post videos ... 2K perhaps ... it was playing when that cool title came up and the guy walked through it ... aww man, I'm going to have to cheat a look, I can't remember.

EDIT: "the loner" was the name of the film.

EDIT2: Aww crap! I don't have a copy of "the loner", and the full 'fest archive isn't up yet! Half a cookie to anyone who can send me a copy!

EDIT3: The music in "the loaner" is by David Friedmen (A friend of PK's from Austin) from the album "Moonrise" (source)
But the clip credits "The Dream Academy" Hmm...

Footage looks GREAT, scratch that, FANTASTIC, by the way!

- Mikko ... seems to recall that PK may allready owe him a cookie for something.

A HA!

The instrumental version of "Please Please Please..." by "The Dream Academy" - a cover of the original by "The Smiths" - used in the film "Ferris Bueller's Day Off"

Thank god for youtube and wikipedia!

Now where's my damn cookie? :)

Travel Advisory: Be care about those free HD Camera giveaways in Thailand. I know one guy who fell for it and woke up in a bath tub full of ice. He found a hand written note saying "Proceed immediately to the nearest hospital..." He felt something painful and wet on his back and found a 12" surgical incision where his left kidney used to be!

bball - d'oh! :) Oh well, I like giving hints.

brianluce - Now that you mention it, I did goto Bangkok with two kidneys and only came back with one. I just figured it was lost in transit.

Mikko - The video with the man walking through the logo was "Romance is Dead". It also used music from David Friedman. All those old videos can be seen at http://www.laundryday.com

Mikko #2 - You win the cookie! But, out of fairness, you should share it with wikipedia. Here's the scene from the actual movie. It's better than that cheesy 80's music video.

pk ..... is running out of cookies ...and kidneys.

Who is the artist who painted the first picture in the Ferris Bueller art scene? It goes from 26-29 seconds.

I have been trying to find that picture for a while but I can't remember the artists' name.

edit - Never mind. Edward Hopper. Awesome.

Yes yes, PK, a great cause and all that nice one Barry.

But Barry. do you realise you flew all around this part of the world and didnt even stop in for a beer. You know Aussies consider that pretty rude.

All jokes aside very nice gesture.
