Trailer shot on XH-A1s

This was shot with a stock XH-A1s, no presets, nothing on the camera touched at all. Literally out of the box and record was hit to film this. Post work was only VERY slight luma curve correction, and cropping for 2.40:1 aspect. I'm highly impressed with the camera. I couldn't tell ya, man. Wish I could. I use Adobe exclusively.

How do you crop to the 2.40:1 aspect ratio in FCP?

FCP 6 ... Effects/Video Filters/Matte/Wide Screen. You have to apply this video filter to each clip in your sequence and then adjust the ration... not best way to do it. I do it in Compressor before I encode. There is an option there to just apply the aspect ration to your whole sequence, you only have to do it once. If you need further help contact me I'll walk you though it.

wait...my first shots with the XH-A1 did not look THAT good.
