I still can't find a Tokina 11-16 2.8f for Canon. What happens if you use a Nikon version with an adapter? What do you loose? Thx

Just wait till bhphoto gets them in stock. Lens is well worth the wait!!! I believe they get a new shipment every 2 weeks so keep checking it on line every couple days. Thats what I did.

Such a great lens. Wish Tokina made a full frame version.

I believe Amazon is selling it through a 3rd party. But at a high mark up. I would wait until B&H opens up and get it cheaper.

Thanks guys. Great help here on the forums. I feel more at home here than the 5d cinema site. Weird huh :P

I bought my Tokina 11-16 (best super wide lens btw) from ebay. the seller is h1photo which is the same company as h1photo.com. Reliable seller.

anyone use both the 11-16 and the 12-24? Thoughts? I'm just weighing the options...and the price.

AND, would this lens be of valid use with the Panny AF100?

the 12-24 is not the same lens at all. remember, tokina is not known for great lenses. quite the contrary. they got lucky somehow with the 11-16. i have one. it's all that and then some. but don't go thinking every tokina lens will perform like this one.

"Panny?!" Really? So I guess a Canon is a Canny and a Nikon is a Nikkey? Sorry, didn't mean to get off topic. Back to topic. I thought I saw the Tokkey at BH the other day.
