Todays Grabs and a quick question...

if editing on a 24fps timeline, your audio must be at 48k. maybe you converted to 44.1? use itunes rather than quicktime if you don't have anything else. i convert 44.1k mp3's to 48k aiff's in itunes all the time and import into FCP. always sounds fine.
 
That didn't look so bad a tall. In fact, the visuals were pretty decent. Sheesh.. DVX is one killer camera.
 
By the by--

I put the footage on my jump-drive and went to view it on the 27 inch Apple CinemaHD and ... well....

Geez, for a three-thousand dollar camera that looked really freaking good. I'm not sure how a DVD/Television port would look... but I certainly can't wait to see Novemeber and Broken on my tube, now.

Or that CinemaHD display. =P
