Todays Grabs and a quick question...

thanks for the replies. Im gunna guess that its probably the condensation thing. I cleaned EVERYTHING when i got back to my house because of the moisture. It still works perfectly and with me back at my house any diffusion that was present before disappeared. The thing that i am the most worried about is our shoot tomorrow which is supposed to take place at the same time in the same place. I hope the halos are still there. as for footage, i will try to get the clip up tonight.
 
I really like the grabs. I think the halo effect looks good. Very weird how it got there though. One thing-I agree about the costume thing. I just don't like the white shirts. Maybe if one guy had a white shirt and the other guy had something different it would be better. When do we get to see some clips.

I'm sure you could create the halos in post.
 
man, the other day, I was seeing with halos around everything like that...I accidentally fell asleep with my contacts in, and then when I took them out it hurt really bad and anything bright had this really pretty halo around it. But it did get annoying after a while. ... thankfully my eyes were back to normal a few hours later.
 
Last night I uploaded a 40MB file to Stickypod and it took over an hour. I might've had a bad connection, but it seemed like forever.
 
I'm awake, sure would like to see the result of kids fighting in school clothes.

I like the grabs themselves, but not the content; if this makes sense.

I agree with what's been stated a few times before. Even though your content may not be in question, perhaps putting more thought into the wardrobe might've made it better.

It's not to say the choice of clothing was bad. I guess we'll have to see the clip.

Keep up the producing, though.
 
alright well i am simultainiously uploading to stickypod and google video. The google video one says less than 30 mins remaining and the stickypod one i have no idea b/c it just sits there.

If this were for my own personal film production then i would have probably taken a lot more time for costumes, but this is for my high school hamlet final and for what its worth, id say it doesnt really affect the final product too badly. I agree with you though, i could have taken more time on the costumes. Thanks again for the feedback guys.

Oh okay. In that case I probably would've skimmed on the costumes as well. WEll, in my case, I would've written it to the point where the clothing fit naturally.

Can't wait to check it out.
 
the stickypod one just failed saying that it exceeded the max file size. The file is only 52 megs. Oh well. Now the google one says 10 mins
 
ok, well google worked however they have this thing where it takes anywhere from an hour to several days to "verify" it. So until that goes through, i will mess around and try to get it up on some free video hosting site.

O wow, that was the greatest thing ever. I clicked on your site and was looking around and all of a sudden enya started playing. The reason this is so ridiculous is that my hamlet video has LOTR music to it and i was like, WTF, where is that coming from. I start thinking my computer auto turned itunes on and im shaking my computer and closing windows left and right, soon to figure out that your site has that on there. ah, that was intense. video will be up shortly
 
I have had the same issue in FCP with the sound sounding bad that it why they have included peak express. Import the sound file into that and export into quicktime. It sounds great.
 
Hamlet, huh? That's a really neat way to adaptate it. -With the blades and forest and stuff.

As for that audio (I'm sure you've heard more than enough on the topic but...), I haven't had the problem when I convert an mp3 to an aiff within iTunes. It seems to preserve it nicely. But its probably not as good as the other audio based programs
