THRILLfest Official Rules

I have a ten page thriller. The only thing I've written a feature based on that short. But if you want a read please pm me.

Not sure if it's the right thread to post something like that. Hoping it's okay.

I want to challenge everyone to think OUTSIDE THE BOX on this one. The genre of "Thriller" is VERY open, and hopefully we won't see 75% of the entries in the horror side of the genre. I know this fest is coinciding with Halloween but it is meant to be more of an open genre, than just horror shorts.

I am confident we'll get some super creative shorts in this fest, and can't wait to see!

Dream on! We're going full out HORROR!

Kidding of course, but you have to expect horror. Only so far out of the box we can go for a thriller. At least there will be no existential angst to deal with here... just people gettign killed in interesting ways. I for one look forward to it so on that note:L

I would really like to make a few new DVX Headers for the next fest, mods should I just make a few and submit them to you?
 
Sounds like a great theme, lots of possibilities. Would very much like to be able to enter this one. After the failure to even complete our project for Westfest I am a bit hesitant, but have some killer ideas floating around my brain pan. I guess time will tell.

I've been lurking around these forums for over a year and even if I'm in high school, unequipped, and busy with college apps, I think I should finally take my chances and work on an actual short film.
Truth is, I'm lazy as hell so who knows if I'll actually get it started or not ;) lets hope i can
 
Question, Hard R.. what does that cover? My script has a good bit of harsh language. Nothing out of the ordinary for a R rated film, nothing sexual or racist. Just a bunch of angryness.
 
Got some great ideas for this, gonna submit 2 films i think.

One film is going to be tight as one location doesn't become available until the first week in October. :)
