Sounds promising.

Barry, is this a final camera? Or might we still hear stuff like 'its a 90% completed pre-production model, they still need to tweak that...' as a reason to explain an issue? (Not that I am saying there will be any!) Are we finally going to see a true end result?
 
It ain't final until it's final. But we are planning on profiling it, learning it, and using it properly, so there won't be any "excuses". Balls to the wall, as it were.
 
Im gonna spend the next 5 days eating sleeping and using it as a breathing filter.
 
Awesome! Whoever he is he should fix the font color of the dates in his blog. I had to select all text in the page to see that it was posted today and is current right now. I'll be following the blog.
 
Ah, I didn't reload the page before I responded and so I didn't see Timur was here. I was busy reading the entire blog and watching the videos.

Timur, I suggest changing the color of the date headings in your blog. Good stuff there. Looking forward to the updates!
 
A 3/8" screw. Now we're cooking with gas! DSLRs cant man up to that one. (I vote "man up" as the most overused expression of Year 2010).

Yeah. Both 1/4" and 3/8" on there is a huge thing for solid mounting. Can't wait to get this thing up on my Steadicam.

Nope. I don't own any video camera; and have no immediate plan to.

But I fly all sorts of cameras on Steadicam gigs. I expect I'll have a chance to fly the AF100 sooner rather than later. Hopefully something good enough to post up here when the time comes if people are interested.

Timur is an excellent choice to put this camera through it's paces.

My AF100 is already on order, but I can't wait to see what Timur comes up with; I know it will be inspirational.
