7D This is how I bought my CANON 7D for ......$1087.20 +tax

Small follow up, I was browsing the Flickr Canon DSLR group as well as Canon's website under the refurb section and it doesn't list the 5D.. Where did you get that price from yrpfilms?

Wow! I just looked and you're right....they are gonzo.
When I called about the 7D the opperator also suggested the 5DMrkII @ The stated price.

The absence of this camera on the Refurb site is a recent development.
I could make a guess why...but, they would all be guesses. :)

Hmm that is odd. When I was over in the Flickr group, someone ordered the 7D a few weeks ago and was told that... But if you said your operator gave a price a few days ago I'll try again when I call back.. Maybe I'll luck out haha. I'll let you know!

By now it has been two weeks since I first called and placed my order....
 
Alright I bought the 7D and with tax it came out to be $1,182.33. Not too shabby, not too shabby.... :P

I did ask about the 5D again and he said that would be around the price of a regular refurbished camera no loyalty needed. They were still out of stock so when it comes to upgrading later in the year I'll try again!
 
I wonder if any of this has changed now with the supply and demand of Japanese electronics? I noticed retail prices have jumped up $50-$100 recently.

I'm not sure, a quick phone call to canon can probably answer this question.
 
Can I do this 5 times? I shoot drum covers on Youtube and would LOVE quality that the Canon DSLR's do!! :)

(People eat the multi angle videos UP!)
