THIRST- A Matt Sconce Film

I hope it does! It would be great to have you there! Any other Dvxusers able to make it! If you want to be on a green screen shoot, that is what this will be. Should be fun! There are some effects shots I have to figure out, and then I will finish storyboarding.:)

If I do make it, can I walk by in the background?

Hey Matt,

nice to see you with a new project. It seems very interesting - and I love the crane!

Best wishes

Susanne

Looking into the info a little more I have discovered an oversight on my part: your first shoot day is my brother's birthday, thus I will most likely be busy. Your second shoot day would probably work out okay, although it is a Sunday and I would have to be up early the next morning. Also, you said you may not even need that day.

I am not ruling this out, still trying to see what I can do! :)

Well, the pitch for Stricken was very enlightening. I reccommend meeting with Larry from Nehst Studios if you have the chance. He tells it as it is and gives you the knowledge of what you need to change to have a successful pitch. I will know in 6-8 weeks if Nehst wants to pursue Stricken. Here's hoping! Well, back to Thirst.

A costume should arrive today and then I can run some test effect shots. I am worried about one in particular that will be hard to pull off. I will be working on that one for a couple days preparing for the test shots. I hope everything is going great and smoothly for you other Dvxusers out there!

Well, I am starting to get a little stressed. A couple people I hoped could help have not told me yes or no and my costuming is not coming through at the moment. I still need 7 medieval style outfits.:(

Well, I'm sure the costumes can be had easily in LA, it's just a matter of the $$$, right?

Does that Fresno Film commiss have any registry of people in the area who might have costumes? A college maybe. I figure you know everyone around there worth knowing, but a college might be one place to try for borrowing. Lot's of shakespeare and what-not.

P.S. - if you still need me to do that nude interpretive dance with the hyper-crane, I AM IN!!!

Yeah, I would definitely recommend contacting the Theater Arts dept at Fresno State, they have quite an extensive prop and costume collection.

Stephanie Bradshaw is the staff member in charge of the costume shop, I believe. sbradshaw@csufresno.edu
